Alpha USA Mission:

Purpose of Role & Key Responsibilities:
Implementation of Diocesan Partnerships
• Serve as the primary relationship manager for partner dioceses after formal collaboration, ensuring effective rollout and support of Alpha in parishes and schools
• Provide ongoing support to diocesan staff, equipping them through Alpha training to coach and mentor parish leaders
• Develop long-term strategies for engagement, evaluation, and adaptation to strengthen partnerships
• Innovate diocesan Alpha plans by integrating Alpha into structures and pathways, including training in the Alpha Suite (Alpha Film Series, Alpha Youth, The Marriage Course)
Parish-Level Support
• Envision and support parish leaders to use Alpha as the starting point for missionary discipleship pathways
• Help create pathways for OCIA, sacramental prep, youth ministry, Catholic schools, multicultural communities, universities, prisons, workplaces, young adults, fallen-away Catholics, and seminaries
• Promote and facilitate digital parish envision events and webinars
Envision Events & Training
• Ensure contextualization of Alpha Explore, 101, and Grow trainings for Catholic settings (with training team)
• Facilitate regular Catholic webinars, trainings, and mentoring opportunities (with Catholic coaches)
• Coordinate Catholic-specific in-person events (e.g., Made for Mission)
• Collaborate with dioceses and parishes to host regional workshops and trainings
• Ensure Catholic presenters and storytellers for TAC and NTL events
Communication, Data & Ongoing Support
• Maintain consistent communication with ministry leaders through updates, newsletters, and events
• Provide ongoing communication and support for diocesan partners and parish staff
• Utilize Salesforce for data tracking
• Identify and share compelling Catholic Alpha stories
Strategic Support
• Contribute to the strategic vision of Alpha Catholic
• Assist with donor engagement, fundraising, and advisory board development

Essential Skills, Experience & Education:
Required
• Practicing Catholic aligned with Church teachings
• Bachelor's degree in theology, ministry, or related field
• 2-5 years parish ministry experience
• Willingness to travel
Preferred
• Experience with diocesan leadership
• Experience implementing Alpha
• Bilingual (English/Spanish), with Latino ministry experience
