Job Description: Marketing & Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Marketing & Communications Specialist to lead Trinity Tour Travels' brand messaging, email communication strategy, CRM automations, event marketing execution, and production of all marketing materials for group leaders. This individual will work closely with leadership to strengthen brand presence, streamline communication, and support the growth of our pilgrimages through high-quality, mission-aligned marketing initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

Email Marketing & Automation
• Design and implement automated email sequences for leads and customers to maintain consistent communication and high engagement.
• Write, design, and distribute The Pellegrino monthly newsletter and bi-weekly targeted email campaigns.
• Grow and manage segmented email lists, including tagging and audience organization.
• Optimize customer onboarding and informational email series for clarity and efficiency.

CRM Administration & Marketing Automation
• Manage and maintain CRM workflows using GoHighLevel.
• Coordinate CRM automations with WeTravel and other platforms via Zapier.
• Launch automated sequences such as Google Review requests (SMS) for returning pilgrims.
• Continuously test and refine automations to improve lead conversion and traveler experience.

Conference & Event Marketing
• Identify and coordinate logistics and marketing plans for major Catholic conferences.
• Oversee booth design, printed materials, giveaways, and conference activation strategy.
• Manage full event cycle, including registration, pre-event promotion, day-of setup, and post-event follow-up.
• Track lead generation performance from events to improve strategy over time.

Marketing Materials & Creative Production
• Oversee design and production of all marketing materials for group leaders, including brochures, flyers, postcards, ads, and printed assets.
• Support group leaders/priests by providing the digital and print resources needed to promote their pilgrimages.
• Produce quarter-page ads, flyers, and coordinated campaign materials for print distribution.
• Ensure brand consistency, adherence to TTT standards, and timely delivery for all marketing deliverables.

Graphic Design
• Design digital and print assets using Canva (required) with strong brand consistency across all materials.
• Create graphics for 30+ annual pilgrimages plus marketing assets for conferences and promotional events.
• Use Photoshop for more advanced editing when needed (preferred but not required).

Website & SEO
• Lead ongoing improvements to the company website, including homepage optimization, landing pages, and traveler resources.
• Maintain and execute a blog strategy to generate organic search traffic.
• Improve SEO through metadata optimization, keyword strategy, image compression, and content updates.
• Publish announcements, press releases, and relevant brand content to strengthen online presence.

Additional Responsibilities
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects such as WeTravel templates, updating imagery, and campaign builds.
• Work closely with leadership on brand strategy, marketing planning, and new initiatives.
• Maintain a professional, mission-driven communication style that aligns with Trinity Tour Travels' Catholic identity and values.

Qualifications
• Strong and active Catholic faith, aligned with the mission and values of Trinity Tour Travels.
• Proven track record in email marketing, marketing automation, CRM management, and design.
• Strong background in event marketing and conference logistics.
• Experience using CRM systems (GoHighLevel), WeTravel, and automation tools (Zapier).
• Experience with copywriting and/or blog writing.
• Graphic design skills (Canva required; Photoshop preferred).
• Knowledge of SEO, content strategy, and basic website optimization.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset and attention to detail.
