4th Grade Classroom Teacher

Job Description

A Saint Ann Catholic School 4th Grade Teacher is responsible for providing a faith-centered, academically rigorous education to students while fostering their spiritual, moral, and intellectual development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards
• Integrate faith-based principles and Gospel values into daily instruction and classroom activities
• Support students' spiritual growth through prayer, liturgy participation, and religious instruction
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development and classroom expectations
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and administration to support the school's mission
• Model Christian behavior and uphold the values and teachings of the Catholic Church
• Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification/licensure
• Practicing Catholic in good standing preferred
• Knowledge of Catholic doctrine and willingness to integrate faith into teaching
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering a faith-filled learning environment

Work Environment:
• Classroom setting within a Catholic elementary school
