Job Description

The Ignatius Press Email Marketing Specialist is a professional who oversees and executes email marketing strategies for the apostolate. You will be responsible for planning and implementing Klaviyo email campaigns, managing subscriber databases, creating engaging emails, and analyzing campaign performance. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams, such as content, design, social media, and print and digital advertising, to ensure consistent brand messaging and enhance customer communication through email channels. The goal is to effectively reach target audiences, promote the brand, and drive customer engagement and sales through email communication.

The Ignatius Press Email Marketing Specialist ensures the content is clear and accurate and creates and optimizes email templates for mobile devices. You will manage subscriber databases, database segmentation based on customer buying patterns, analyze campaign metrics, and provide insights to improve campaign effectiveness.

Requirements and skills:
• Proven work experience in email marketing management-experience working with Klaviyo is highly preferable.
• Hands-on experience with HTML and content management systems.
• Proficiency in marketing automation technology.
• Openness to ongoing training and development.
• Good team player willing to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with analytical and database tools.
• Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics for report generation preferred.
• Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Commitment to consistently meet deadlines and sometimes work under tight deadlines.

Compensation: This is a fully remote part-time private contractor position averaging 25 to 30 hours per week, requiring consistent availability during standard office hours for meetings and interaction. Hourly rate $28 to $40, depending on skills and previous experience.
