Job Description
Chesterton Academy of The Holy Family, Lisle, Illinois is seeking an outstanding Marketing & Communications Coordinator to lead and support the school's marketing, branding, communications, and digital presence. This full-time, in-person position is ideal for a creative, mission-driven professional who possesses excellent communication skills, strong technical ability, and a passion for Catholic classical education.The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will manage the school website, oversee public-facing communications, support admissions and advancement efforts, coordinate marketing campaigns, and ensure brand consistency in alignment with the Chesterton Schools Network standards.

Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the school website with current, engaging, and mission-centered content
Coordinate and produce newsletters, school news, email campaigns, and public communications
Collaborate with the school's social media vendor on messaging, scheduling, and strategy
Create marketing and promotional materials using Canva and Adobe platforms
Produce and organize photography, videography, videos, and digital marketing assets
Support branding initiatives and annual marketing campaigns in collaboration with school leadership
Supervise public-facing written communications including admissions, advancement, annual reports, and event materials
Serve as the in-house graphic designer for all marketing materials, spirit wear, athletic uniforms, and event promotions
Actively gather stories, photos, and content from faculty, students, families, and school events
Assist with event marketing, publicity, and communications for school programs and special events
Support basic audio-visual and digital display needs for meetings and events
Perform additional duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Strong writing/editing skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines
Familiarity with school communication systems
Website management experience
Experience with branding consistency
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
One to two years of related marketing or communications experience preferred
Practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with a strong understanding of and commitment to the Catholic faith and Church teachings
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Proficiency and/or ability to learn FinalSite, Microsoft Office, Canva, Constant Contact, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media platforms
Experience with photography and videography preferred
Knowledge of website management, HTML, or Squarespace is a plus (training available)
Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with faculty, families, students, and leadership
Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, walking, photography/videography, and computer work for extended periods
Ability to work evenings and weekends for school events as needed
Employment Details
Full-time, in-person position based in Lisle, Illinois
Some evenings and weekends required throughout the year
Approximately four days of summer travel for the Chesterton Schools Network Summit Conference
Compensation & Benefits
Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include a medical stipend, paid holidays, and participation in a 401(k) plan.
Oath of Fidelity
As a condition of employment, candidates must be practicing Roman Catholics in good standing and willing to sign the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium.
