POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator for Marketing & Communications supports the execution of complex marketing and donor acquisition initiatives by providing daily administrative, logistical, organizational, and tactical support. This role helps coordinate an online course content marketing initiative to drive brand awareness, enrollment growth, and donor acquisition. It also supports social media influencer marketing campaigns and related content marketing initiatives to generate leads for Admissions, Steubenville Conferences, Pilgrimages, and other University programs and initiatives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinate and support enrollment services for the free online course initiative, including using a Learning Management System (LMS) to manage content and functionality, generate reports, troubleshoot issues, facilitate customer service.
2. Provide internal coordination and support for scheduling online and in-person meetings and events, organizing logistics for national and international travel, and completing project-related accounting tasks.
3. Provide comprehensive project coordination and operational support for the social media influencer marketing strategy and related marketing initiatives, including administrative coordination, logistics, and stakeholder communication.
4. Provide daily project coordination and cross-functional support for the new free online course project, including administrative, logistical, and communication support for multiple internal and external stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS
Must understand, support, and embrace the mission of Franciscan University of Steubenville and possess the following:
Technical Skills
• Proven experience using project coordination, project management, and collaboration tools, such as Slack, Wrike, Asana, Canva, and Google applications.
• Advanced administrative proficiency with Learning Management Systems such as Thinkific.
• Fluency with marketing technology platforms, including CRMs, email service providers, social media scheduling tools (such as Hootsuite and Upfluence), and reporting dashboards.
• Experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting on performance metrics such as CPLs, CTRs, conversions, engagement, and ROI.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and with communication, scheduling, and collaboration tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams.
Non-Technical Skills & Competencies
• Ability to coordinate complex short- and long-term projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders by identifying and organizing steps, tasks, resources, and timelines to support goals, meet KPIs, and create and implement appropriate feedback loops.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills that promote clarity, accuracy, and productive collaboration.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively with individuals at all levels, both inside and outside the organization; sensitivity to how different people, teams, and organizations think and operate; and the diplomacy and tact needed to defuse high-tension situations.
• Strong planning and organizational skills to assess the complexity of projects and initiatives, break work into key process steps and specific tasks, anticipate obstacles and develop contingencies, and support implementation, resources, and timing.
• Ability to multitask in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment and to adapt quickly while finding creative solutions to unexpected administrative, logistical, and tactical challenges.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree or substantial equivalent professional experience.
• Three to five years of related professional experience preferred.
• Proven success in project coordination, organization, and administration, with a strong record of using effective tools and practices to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Workplace Factors:
• Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
• Some national and international travel may be required.
• Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods while working on a computer.
• Ability to effectively communicate detailed information through speech and hearing, both in person and by phone.
