MS Math and Religion Teacher

Job Description

St. Bernadette Catholic School in Hollywood, Florida is hiring a qualified Grade 3-5 Math and Religion Teacher for the current school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for grade 3- 5 students. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of service.

Qualifications:
• BS / BA Degree in Education.
• FDOE Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education, temporary or professional required.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
• Excellent oral and written English -language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar required.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
• Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
