Job Description

Overview
Department Call Center representative. Supports and administers Fraternal Programs and provides administrative support for Fraternal Mission as needed. Supports programs within Life, Community, Faith, and Family Programs.
Core Responsibilities
Department Call Center - Receive and respond to telephone and email inquiries and requests from internal and external parties; explain procedures; answer questions and resolve routine issues, researching responses as necessary.
Assist Program Managers and provide support by maintaining files, recording and processing requests and other work as requested. Acting as primary contact for program assigned.
Cross train on other programs to provide backup support for programs assigned to other Clerks as needed. Understand processes and procedures specific to the assigned programs.
May administer or provide back up support as needed on Columbian and Star Council Award Programs and assist with the recording and processing of the Annual Survey of Fraternal Activity.
Receive and process applications for programs and for refunds, update spreadsheets, request checks from accounting, and mail checks including processing vendor payments.
Provide departmental support including various mailing projects and other related duties as assigned including handling Fraternal Missions internal email account and forwarding emails to appropriate party and handling inventory and department supplies.
Skills Qualifications
Understanding of Fraternal structure and its protocol and terminology
Typing speed of at least 30 wpm
Basic mathematical skills
Detail oriented; ability to determine and correct errors related to job duties
Communication skills
Customer service skills
Time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize work to accomplish multiple tasks Systems/Technical Knowledge:
Ability to use PC and related software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to enter and review data in Ingenium
Ability to use fax machine, memory function typewriter, and calculator
Basic knowledge of payroll system
Education
High school diploma
3-5 years of general office experience
Physical Demands
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of the workday.
