Job Description

The Kokomo Catholic Pastorate is seeking candidates for a full-time Coordinator of Development and Stewardship for its Saint Joan of Arc Parish, St. Patrick Parish, and Sts. Joan of Arc & Patrick School. This position is ideal for a candidate interested in joining a highly motivated team who work together in a culture of support, collaboration and unity. The Kokomo Pastorate is looking to hire a dynamic, driven and engaging employee to build and grow relationships with parishioners, staff and outside leaders to develop stewardship and promote the advancement of its Parishes and School.

Areas of responsibility include:
1. Encouraging involvement of parishioners into the life of the Pastorate
2. Creating and sustaining strong relationships with donors
3. Creating and implementing strategies that encourage parishioners to tithe and consider additional gifts to the Catholic Church
4. Growing fundraising initiatives including annual giving, major gift development, capital campaigns, estate planning, special events, etc
5. Leading fundraising efforts for the school including event planning, grant writing and alumni affairs
6. Overseeing the local implementation of the Diocesan Catholic Ministries Appeal
7. Establishing and maintaining relationships with lay volunteers to assist in stewardship activities
8. Coordinating with the missionary pastor on major gift development and grant opportunities in Howard county
9. Effective database management, gift recording, donor acknowledgement and stewardship budgeting

The ideal candidate will have earned a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 3 years of related experience, experience in stewardship development preferred, strong computer skills including the MS Office and Google Suite are required.
