Job Description
SummaryThe Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management leads the admissions team at Martin Saints Classical High School. The Director works closely with the school President and the team to develop and sustain key relationships, through marketing and representing the school in a variety of settings on and off campus. The Director helps build brand awareness, enabling many constituencies (e.g., parents, pastors, middle school teachers) to understand the Martin Saints mission, and why MSC is a strong and attractive high school choice. The Director also oversees strategic and operational aspects of enrollment management, which includes planning for the future, retention, and leveraging financial aid.
This is a full-time position; work hours are approximately 8 am to 4 pm. Candidates should be willing to work evenings and weekends when there are admissions and recruiting opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strategize and implement marketing plans in consultation with colleagues.
Raise our visibility with middle schools through events and visits
Build and maintain relationships with key figures at local parishes
Plan and execute events such as open houses and visitation days
Project and track admissions budget
Oversee the Assistant Director of Admissions
Communicate with prospective families
Ensure that the enrollment and financial aid online portals are running smoothly
Safeguard, develop, and grow branding in relation to admissions
Develop and supervise marketing campaigns in a variety of media (including social, digital, parish-based, and others)
Design and maintain an inventory of school marketing materials and swag
Qualifications
Passion for the mission of Martin Saints Classical High School and a commitment to the value of classical education.
A practicing member of the Catholic Church who upholds all of the magisterial teachings of the faith in both their professional and personal life.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, education, communications or another related discipline is required, Master's degree preferred. Three to five years related experience preferably in academia or an admissions office.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact in a positive manner with all the constituencies of the school community: President, administration, staff, faculty, Board of Directors, parents, students, prospective students, and alumni.
Excellent customer service to internal and external constituencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with database systems and software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, TADS, TADS SSS, Canva, and Avery Design & Print.
Proven to be an organized, detail-oriented professional who can multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Willingness to continuously learn and be an ambassador for Martin Saints Classical High School.
Ability to work evenings as well as some weekend hours.
