Director of Religious Education

Job Description

St. Ann Catholic Church and Our Lady of the Assumption Mission, located along the beautiful white sandy beaches of Florida's Emerald Coast, are seeking a full-time Director of Religious Education to lead and coordinate the parish's faith formation programs for children and families.

The Director of Religious Education will oversee religious education for children, sacramental preparation programs, and the development of family-centered faith formation initiatives. The position will also assist the parish in implementing the diocesan initiatives of Family Catechesis and the Restored Order of the Sacraments, helping parents grow in their role as the primary educators of their children in the Catholic faith.

Qualified candidates should have:
•Knowledge of Catholic teaching and catechetical ministry
•Experience working with children, families, and volunteers
•Strong organizational and communication skills
•Desire to work collaboratively with parish staff and volunteers
