Job Description
Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata, a joyfully Catholic, classical, co-educational high school in MetroWest Boston serving grades 9-12, seeks faithful and talented educators with a passion for Catholic classical education to join our growing faculty in full-time and part-time roles.We are currently accepting applications for teaching positions across multiple disciplines, including:
- Mathematics and Science
- Humanities (Theology, History, Literature, Latin, Spanish, Philosophy)
- Fine Arts, Music (including Choir Director), and Drama
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant academic field is required.
- Three to five years of teaching experience is preferred, along with familiarity with and enthusiasm for Catholic classical education.
- A practicing Catholic able to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated alignment with the mission and vision of Chesterton Academy.
- Willingness to be an active participant in school life, including daily Mass, the House System, and school events.
- A teacher who sees education as a vocation and demonstrates a spirit of service, magnanimity, and joyful witness to the faith.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. A benefits package is offered to all full-time employees.
