Job Description

Oakcrest School, an independent school for girls in grades 6-12 inspired by the teachings of the Catholic Church, located in Vienna, Virginia, seeks two full-time, long-term substitute teachers starting in February, 2026.

Applicants should possess:
A minimum of three years' experience teaching science within a range of grade levels (9-12)
Bachelors in chemistry or a related subject is preferred
Excellent communication skills and an understanding of the developmental needs of adolescent girls
Experience with and desire to collaboratively work as part of a team
Commitment to excellent teaching and to continued professional development;
Desire to involve oneself with the school and communicate effectively beyond the classroom.
