Job Description
Position Summary:St. John Paul the Great Catholic High School (JPG) is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing efforts with a focus on content creation, print and web design, and digital communications. This role will be responsible for developing visually compelling marketing materials, managing social media content, and executing email campaigns to enhance brand awareness and engagement within our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Graphic Design:
-Design and produce marketing materials including brochures, flyers, posters, and other print collateral to promote school programs and events.
-Develop digital assets for the school website, social media platforms, and email campaigns.
-Maintain brand consistency across all content and materials, aligning with the school's mission and values.
Print & Web Design:
-Collaborate with internal teams to design and update website pages, ensuring a user-friendly experience for students, parents, and prospective families.
-Create graphics, layouts, and templates for both digital and print media.
-Coordinate and manage external vendors for print production and distribution.
Email & Social Media Communications:
-Develop and schedule engaging email campaigns using email marketing platforms to keep the school community informed.
-Manage social media accounts by creating, curating, and scheduling content that reflects the vibrant life of JPG.
-Track performance metrics for email and social media campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement.
-Photography and basic video editing capabilities.
Marketing Support & Collaboration:
-Assist in developing marketing strategies and campaigns to support school enrollment, events, and community engagement.
-Work closely with faculty, staff, and students to highlight achievements and activities through various media channels.
-Support event marketing efforts with promotional materials and online engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, design, or content creation.
-Excellent proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
-Experience with web design platforms (WordPress, Squarespace, or similar CMS).
-Strong understanding of social media platforms and email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.).
-Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail and grammar.
-Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong communication and collaboration skills.
-Ability to track marketing expenses and manage a budget.
-Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
-Experience in photography and video editing.
-Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or social media insights.
Wage: $60,000-90,000 annual salary determined as commensurate with experience. Full-time employees receive a suite of medical, dental, vision, retirement, and life insurance benefits.
