Part-time Physical Education Teacher - Grades 6 & 7

Job Description:
Chelsea Academy is seeking a highly motivated part-time faculty member to provide Physical Education
instruction to grades 6 & 7 during the 2025-2026 academic year. Desired candidates should have teaching
experience, a knowledge and appreciation of the Catholic intellectual tradition, classical liberal arts
pedagogy, a passion for educating and forming Christian youth, and a spirit of adventure.
Important qualifications and characteristics include: practicing Catholic in good standing, background in
physical education, coaching or working with children, classroom management skills, a focus on student
learning, ability to collaborate on a team, flexibility, and enthusiasm.

Hours: Physical Education instruction of approximately 5 hours per week/1 class period per day;
additional hours may be available
Compensation and Benefits: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
