Job Description

Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School in Potomac Shores, Virginia has an immediate opening for a Director of Security. The Director of Security is a 12 month, full time position that secures the school building and oversees and ensures the safety and behavior of students, parents, family, and visitors present on school grounds. This individual must be able to respond to emergency situations, administer first aid, and communicate effectively in a kind but firm manner to students, visitors, faculty and staff.

Requirements for this position include strong communication skills both verbal and written, strong organization and administrative/troubleshooting capabilities, and ability to provide feedback in a constructive way. A degree is preferred, though equivalent professional experience will be considered. Prior law enforcement/security experience is required. Must be First aid/CPR certified (or actively pursuing).
