Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Advancement Associate located in Menlo Park, CA. The Advancement Associate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the advancement team, organizing and coordinating payments from donors, managing donor databases, and assisting with donor outreach and stewardship. The role involves generating reports, handling correspondence, and participating in the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance the advancement program. Duties include assisting with social media.
Qualifications
Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with donor relations, fundraising, and event coordination
Proficiency in using donor management software (Boomerang) and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Non-Profit Management, or a related field
Experience in a religious or educational institution is a plus
Compensation range: $30-$35 per hour, non-exempt hourly position.
