Job Description

The Lifecycle & Integrated Marketing Leader is responsible for nurturing and retaining The Catholic Company's existing customer base across all brands within the Trinity Road, LLC family through coordinated multi-channel marketing efforts. This role plays a pivotal part in maximizing customer lifetime value and loyalty by orchestrating email and social media strategies that deepen engagement, drive repeat sales, and uphold our mission of promoting Truth, Goodness, and Beauty in the customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the strategy and execution of customer lifecycle marketing campaigns (onboarding, retention, win-back, loyalty) across email and social media channels.
- Lead and mentor the retention-focused team (email marketing specialists and social media coordinators), providing direction and ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
- Develop integrated marketing plans that coordinate content and timing across brands (The Catholic Company, Good Catholic, Rosary.com, etc.), ensuring consistent messaging and a seamless customer journey.
- Analyze customer data and segmentation to personalize outreach - crafting targeted campaigns for various customer segments and stages (e.g. new subscribers, repeat customers, lapsed customers).
- Implement and optimize automated marketing workflows (such as welcome series, re-engagement triggers, and loyalty program communications) to continuously nurture customer relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (content, product merchandising, creative design, and customer service) to incorporate relevant product offerings, promotions, and faith-inspired content into retention campaigns.
- Monitor and report on the performance of lifecycle initiatives, using analytics to drive improvements - conducting A/B tests on subject lines, send times, and content to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion.
- Stay current with digital marketing trends and best practices in retention (email deliverability, social engagement algorithms, SMS/push notification opportunities, etc.) and apply these insights to enhance The Catholic Company's retention strategy.

Knowledge / Critical Skills:
- Strong understanding of email marketing, social media, and CRM strategies for customer retention, including familiarity with marketing automation tools and segmentation techniques.
- Excellent strategic planning and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and timelines across different brands simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in marketing analytics dashboards and KPIs - able to interpret customer data, campaign metrics, and ROI to inform decision-making.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and to mentor junior marketing staff.
- Knowledge of Catholic teachings, liturgical seasons, and the devotional tone of our brands, ensuring that retention content aligns with Catholic values and seasonal themes while engaging our audience.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Improvement in customer retention rates and repeat purchase frequency across the customer base.
- Growth in customer lifetime value (CLTV) and loyalty program engagement.
- High email engagement metrics (open rates, click-through rates) and robust social media interaction from existing customers in retention campaigns.
- Successful execution of the lifecycle marketing calendar - on-time campaign launches with consistent messaging across channels, especially during key seasons (e.g. Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter).

Physical Demands / Environmental Factors:
- Standard office environment with extensive computer and screen use.
- Occasional need to adjust work hours around major campaign launches or important liturgical seasons to supervise timely communications.
- Minimal physical demands; primarily desk-based duties.
